The Knoweldge Base’s Staffing module offers an all-inclusive view of positions within your organization.
It collates essential data points like net salary, payroll tax, gross salary, work hours, workstation details and associated expenses.
By centralizing this information, the module enhances your ability to manage staffing assumptions, offering a cohesive picture of roles and their associated variables.
Equipment
Equipment
The Equipment module in the Knowledge Base centralizes key data points on your organization's main fixed asset types, from purchase price to useful life (which, in turn, drives depreciation and replacement cycles).
Additionally, you can customize variables such as utilization intensity, space requirements, operator assignments and utility consumption.
This holistic approach streamlines management of equipment assumptions, providing consistent control over key parameters.

Utilities
The utility feature in the Knowledge Bank grants you access to various utilities essential for your business operations, including electricity, water, gas, etc.
Utilities in Decision Critical are purchased at designated rates and are drawn by equipment in the course of production. The consumption of named utilities is directly driven by the utilization of these machines. The utility directory offers a centralized location to manage and monitor your utility expenses.

Tax
The tax directory in the Knowledge Bank covers four types of taxes: sales tax, value-added tax / goods-and-services tax, corporate income tax, and payroll taxes. For each tax type, you can define the applicable rates and payment frequency. Specialized settings are available for each of the tax types.
Tax management in the knowledge base allows you to effectively forecast the likely future tax obligations of your company under the scenario being modeled.
